Mānawatia a Matariki
This week, we started talking about what Matariki is. Matariki is a cluster of stars and each star signifies something that is important to us and our environment.
We have been learning about the Matariki stars and its unique characteristics.
We have learnt about the Māori view of how the world started and how the Matariki stars came about.
We have been learning various Matariki waiata too.
